Dac\u0103 ai dureri, sensibilitate persistent\u0103, s\u00e2nger\u0103ri gingivale, defecte vizibile sau b\u0103nuie\u0219ti c\u0103 ai carii, consult\u0103 un dentist \u00eenainte de a \u00eencepe orice rutin\u0103 de albire a din\u021bilor.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ce este dioxidul de clor?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dioxidul de clor (ClO\u2082)<\/strong> este un agent oxidant gazos, g\u0103lbui \u0219i foarte reactiv, cunoscut din alte domenii (de exemplu, tratarea apei, dezinfec\u021bia industrial\u0103 sau \u00een\u0103lbirea). \u00cen produsele de \u00eengrijire dentar\u0103 apare de obicei \u00een dou\u0103 forme sau tipuri de sisteme:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Declarat drept \u201edioxid de clor\u201d<\/strong> (rareori sub form\u0103 de ClO\u2082 pur \u0219i mai frecvent ca sistem care \u00eel elibereaz\u0103).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sub form\u0103 de clorit de sodiu (Sodium Chlorite, NaClO\u2082)<\/strong> plus \u201eactivator\u201d\/acid: \u00een acest caz, dioxidul de clor se formeaz\u0103 abia \u00een urma unei reac\u021bii chimice (de exemplu, atunci c\u00e2nd se adaug\u0103 o component\u0103 acid\u0103).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al doilea caz este relevant mai ales pentru produsele de \u201ealbire instantanee\u201d: <strong>dioxidul de clor este generat pe loc \u2013 adesea \u00een condi\u021bii acide<\/strong>, care pot fi problematice pentru smal\u021b \u0219i mucoas\u0103 [2,3].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cum ar trebui s\u0103 albeasc\u0103 dioxidul de clor din\u021bii?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00cen linii mari, colora\u021biile dentare pot fi:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Colora\u021bii extrinseci<\/strong> (la suprafa\u021b\u0103: cafea, ceai, vin ro\u0219u, tutun)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Colora\u021bii intrinseci<\/strong> (mai ad\u00e2nc \u00een dinte: \u00eemb\u0103tr\u00e2nire, traumatisme, medicamente, tratament de canal)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dioxidul de clor poate \u2013 teoretic \u0219i conform studiilor de laborator \u2013 s\u0103 <strong>oxideze moleculele colorante<\/strong>, modific\u00e2nd astfel absorb\u021bia luminii. Din\u021bii pot p\u0103rea mai albi ca urmare a acestui proces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Problema esen\u021bial\u0103: multe produse pentru albirea din\u021bilor pe baz\u0103 de clorit sau dioxid de clor nu ac\u021bioneaz\u0103 <strong>doar prin oxidare<\/strong>, ci folosesc \u0219i <strong>un pH sc\u0103zut<\/strong> (adic\u0103 un mediu acid) pentru a genera sau stabiliza dioxidul de clor [1\u20133]. Tocmai aceast\u0103 component\u0103 acid\u0103 este unul dintre principalele motive pentru care speciali\u0219tii \u00een medicin\u0103 dentar\u0103 privesc critic astfel de sisteme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eficacitate: ce arat\u0103 cercet\u0103rile \u0219i ce nu arat\u0103?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rezultatele de laborator: efectul de albire este posibil<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un studiu in vitro publicat \u00een <em>Journal of Dentistry<\/em> a ar\u0103tat c\u0103 dioxidul de clor poate albi m\u0103surabil din\u021bii \u00eentr-un mediu de laborator [1]. Acest lucru explic\u0103 de ce unele persoane observ\u0103 subiectiv efecte \u201erapide\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dar laboratorul \u2260 via\u021ba de zi cu zi (\u0219i cu at\u00e2t mai pu\u021bin utilizarea pe termen lung)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aspecte pe care studiile de laborator nu le reproduc adesea:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>capacitatea real\u0103 de tamponare a salivei,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>duratele variabile de ac\u021biune \u0219i supradozarea,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>contactul cu gingiile \u0219i mucoasa,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>utilizarea repetat\u0103 timp de s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2ni sau luni,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>factorii individuali de risc (eroziune, colet dentar expus, microfisuri).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un alt aspect: efectul de din\u021bi \u201emai albi\u201d poate ap\u0103rea \u0219i atunci c\u00e2nd suprafa\u021ba este <strong>atacat\u0103 chimic<\/strong> sau modificat\u0103 \u2013 cosmetic, acest lucru poate func\u021biona pe termen scurt, dar este riscant din punct de vedere biologic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Date despre siguran\u021b\u0103: pH-ul \u0219i \u201eagresivitatea\u201d reprezint\u0103 problema central\u0103<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un studiu in vitro asupra produselor pentru albirea din\u021bilor f\u0103r\u0103 prescrip\u021bie arat\u0103 c\u0103 produsele cu <strong>pH sc\u0103zut<\/strong> \u0219i mecanisme de ac\u021biune \u201eputernice\u201d pot influen\u021ba \u00een mod m\u0103surabil suprafa\u021ba dentar\u0103 (de exemplu, suprafe\u021be mai moi sau deteriorate) [3]. Aceasta nu este o problem\u0103 exclusiv\u0103 a dioxidului de clor \u2013 \u00eens\u0103, \u00een cazul sistemelor pe baz\u0103 de clorit, pH-ul face adesea parte din modul \u00een care este conceput produsul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De ce dioxidul de clor (\u0219i cloritul de sodiu) este considerat \u201eriscant\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00cen raportul de testare Dental Test Lab privind albirea din\u021bilor, <strong>compu\u0219ii clorului<\/strong> au fost men\u021biona\u021bi \u00een mod explicit printre ingredientele care trebuie <strong>evitate<\/strong> \u00een produsele pentru albirea din\u021bilor. Motivele corespund evalu\u0103rilor actuale ale riscurilor \u0219i rezultatelor de laborator:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1) Iritarea mucoasei \u0219i a gingiilor, p\u00e2n\u0103 la leziuni chimice<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Agen\u021bii oxidan\u021bi pot irita \u021besuturile moi. Dac\u0103 sunt implica\u021bi \u0219i acizi sau concentra\u021bia este mare, riscul cre\u0219te semnificativ. Semnalele de avertizare tipice \u00een timpul utiliz\u0103rii sunt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>senza\u021bie de arsur\u0103 sau durere ascu\u021bit\u0103 la nivelul gingiilor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>zone albe ale mucoasei, cu aspect de \u201earsur\u0103\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ro\u0219ea\u021b\u0103 sau umflare persistent\u0103<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00cen acest caz: <strong>cl\u0103te\u0219te imediat gura \u0219i opre\u0219te utilizarea<\/strong>, iar dac\u0103 simptomele sunt severe, consult\u0103 un dentist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2) Riscul pentru smal\u021b: asprire, sl\u0103bire \u0219i vulnerabilitate crescut\u0103<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dioxidul de clor poate avea ac\u021biune oxidant\u0103 \u2013 \u00eens\u0103 multe sisteme func\u021bioneaz\u0103 fiabil doar atunci c\u00e2nd mediul este <strong>acid<\/strong>. Acidul poate demineraliza smal\u021bul; combina\u021bia dintre expunerea oxidativ-chimic\u0103 \u0219i pH-ul sc\u0103zut este nefavorabil\u0103. \u00cen acest context, studiile \u0219i evalu\u0103rile de siguran\u021b\u0103 descriu efecte poten\u021bial nedorite asupra suprafe\u021bei dentare [1\u20133].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3) Marje de siguran\u021b\u0103 reduse \u00een analizele de risc (clorit de sodiu)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un raport al <strong>Danish Environmental Protection Agency<\/strong> a analizat produse pentru albirea din\u021bilor destinate utiliz\u0103rii acas\u0103 \u0219i a evaluat, printre altele, compu\u0219ii cloritului. Raportul arat\u0103 c\u0103, inclusiv la concentra\u021bii relativ mici (\u00een jur de 0,1%), marjele de siguran\u021b\u0103 pot fi nefavorabile (MoS &lt; 10) \u2013 mai simplu spus: <strong>rezerva de siguran\u021b\u0103 este prea mic\u0103<\/strong>, ceea ce cre\u0219te riscul de irita\u021bii \u0219i leziuni.
